Roman's Quarters
The room is typically sparse, a bachelor's haven from the world. A small cot, covered by a dark green blanket rests in one corner, accompanied by a small stand to hold a candle, a chest of drawers for his assorted clothing, and a guitar, Roman's chosen instrument. A large axe fills the opposite wall, with a painting of a lovely woman. Mayhaps Roman is more than he seems...

| After motioning for the two to take a seat on the bed, he turns and opens a small cupboard. Carefully he pulls some bread, sliced ham, cheese, and a couple cups down, laying them on the dresser to serve as a makeshift table. Producing a some milk from behind the door, he fills two glasses and distributes them respectively. He pulls a knife from his boot and slices the bread and cheese, then sandwiches the stuff together. "Here ya are. Tis my favorite snack besides some dried meat or a steak. I eat alot of food if ya might have guessed." He chuckles at his own joke before attacking the sandwich and milk.

All of him was bent on steath. He snuck across the room, and when his eyes caught the picture he went over. Slightly hesitant he picked it up, examining it. Would it be worth it to try to steal and sell it? He looked closer, this time at the picture, not the frame. Feeling suddenly gult-this appeared to be all the man had of his lover-he set it down, his back to the door. He did not notice an approaching prescence.

| Pulling the worn rucksack from under the small cot, he stows some dried food, extra pants and shirt, a ticking watch that he promptly rewound, and various and other sundry items. Shouldering the pack, he takes the axe from the wall and slings it upon one shoulder, before exiting the room. |

| Silent he moves through the small room. A long glance is bestowed upon the picture, full of witheld emotion. "Emilia..." A small groan escapes with the emission. Seemingly defeated, he frees the instrument from the walls. Lonely, with the guitar as his only friend, blunt fingers gently pick well-worn melodies, until he felt such time as sleep overcome him. |
