Subject: Old Grimm's not gonna like this...
In reply to: Forge 's message, "He picked up a data pad...." on 20:12:48 07/12/01 Thu

he thought. Forge had a good point, like always. Boeckle was one to see the scientific aspects and the wonders of discovery in an event, but Forge always picked things up from a different ange. Boeckle had not considered the possibility of Cybertron reactivating the Starbase. They had every right to, of course, but if they reacitivated one, why not two, why not three? And if they did that much why not recquisition Rugby and try to bring it back into the Cybertronian fold. He didn't know about the rest of the crew, but he felt that Rugby was it's own entity now...no need for a father planet like Cybertron to dictate orders.

Old Grimm had made himself clear enough in the past that Rugby was it's own military presence. Once he heard this he may not be the smiling picture that Boeckle had imagined.

"Cybertron playing a role in this kind of gives me the jitters, you know? I kinda almost wish that it is a malfunction. I'm going to head over to Op-Chief and let him know. If you want to get an engineer or two ready to go and I'll send one of my astro-guys as well. If it is a malfunction and this ID-T is blaring across the intergalactic spatial field, I'm sure we're not the only ones who are going to show interest in Bastion."

Boeckle paused for a second considering Forge's StarSystem Appearance...from a certain point of view, he could be right. The star system had blinked out of existance, but with the relativity and the speed of light it could very well be a star going nova and creating another star system by one of it's orbital gas giants...it's happened often enough in the past.

He told Forge all he knew about the star system disappearing-act so far and then went over to operations with a good-bye "Thanks Forge." as he stepped out of engineering, he didn't notice his hands were still shaking...
