Dear Loraine,

Thank you very much for your kind invitation to your party in Virginia. I attended one in England and had a wonderful time with Roller fans from all over the world.

I would very much liked to have attended your get together, however, I will be in Portugal during that time on my summer vacation which has already been organised and therefore it is with much regret that on this occasion I have to decline your invitation.

I am sure you will have a wonderful time and appreciate what you all do in remembering the Rollers in your own unique ways. I will also have a look for something to donate to your charity auction to help with the fight against breast cancer.

Dearest Derek,
Since the mid-80s,I've been globetrotting--living and doing volunteer work in Israel,Africa and with Mother Theresa's Missionairies in India--and very much away from progress in the western world.However,now back in my native Vancouver,Canada, again,and trying to,once again,get a handle on this Internet thing,I am still with a bit of frustration in obtaining information re: a new recording that Alan,Eric,Les and Woody (and yourself?) had supposedly done back in 1999.I'd love to purchase it....Whilst I was in Goa,I befriended an ex-lawyer from Dunfermline who brought me a bit up to speed regarding somewhat recent happenings to you.What you had to endure was absolute rubbish.I truly believe in you and in your gentle spirit,as always since the 70's,and in that your whole ordeal has been unjust and subjective in the minds of neanderthals...Forgive me if I am treading where I should not,however,out-dated as I am,my heart and mind are in support with you and I truly wish you a peaceful vacation at home in Portugal.
