Subject: mandolin plectrums

I am a total "Newbie" to this, and I could use some advice. I picked up a new Mandolin, and an attempting to learn to play it. My problem is that I can't find the proper plectrum for me. I have tried going to the nusic stores in my area, but they won't allow me to try out different picks unless I buy them first. Does anyone know how I can get an assortment of Mandolin picks to try so that I can select the proper one for me?
