"Where are you Spits? You look like you're a million light-years away! Lighten up!"

Spitfire stopped staring off into space and stared hard at Raider, who was now little more than a distraction. Still, he hadn't found what he had been concentrating on anyway, and instead smiled now jesting back about how Phantom's landing was better than Raider's.

"Oh yeah? Well I still got here before EVERYONE did...seems to me I may have been on my can, but I was there for a long time. Rookie did okay though...I'll give him that. I mean sure he's no Bac--"

Star Raider paused, realizing how close he'd come to putting his proverbial foot in his mouth. Or had he? Phantom was still joking with some of the others and didn't seem to hear Raider nearly utter the name of their destroyed comrade, the one whom Phantom had replaced. And Spitfire, used to Raider babbling, had actually turned and walked away from the conversation already. Raider sighed, then snickered a little at the prominent 'Reboot Me' sign he had slapped on his teammate's back earlier.

"This is fun, but could get lame fast. Now that we've saved the new ship, what now? Primus I could use a mission! Hope Top Gun gets us something juicy from the Captain for our next go-around. Flying circles around my buddies only entertains me so much in these cramped quarters..."
