Hi Kellie. Today I happened to check out the messages posted recently where I saw all the congratulatory notes to you about your being pregnant. Well here's the thing. I haven't been tuning in for the last few months since my Dad, Benjamin Ibarra, became hospitalized right before Christmas. My mornings were so hectic, I was always out the door to work or to the hospital w/o thinking twice about the radio. I knew you had been trying for awhile, so when I checked out the site today, I was curious to go back and see when exactly you found out. I traced everybody's notes to you back to 2-22. Apparently you must have announced it on the air on or right around that date. Well guess what....my sweet, wonderful Dad passed away on the morning of 2-22! Of course, my family was really sad but now I think God's plan was to replace his tremendous presence in this world with a new life...the life of your baby! Somehow, that makes me feel better about it all. Congratulations Kellie. As the mother of an 8 year old boy, I can tell you that motherhood is the greatest thrill. You will never love the same again. God Bless and I'm sure our Dad will watch over your little angel.
