Hi BZC. Yea, I didn't see Oceans 12. I'm waiting for it to appear on HBO, not sure if I want to pay full price to see Eddie for 30 seconds. I am looking forward to the Diva documentary, hopefully it will be as insightful as Je Suis (which is may all time favorite Eddie piece, I must admit... I melt when I watch that one... something so vulnerable about him in it.) Toronto isn't that far from us so maybe it will be a road trip for us as well. -- Eddie Pedantic Gasbag Discussion Group

I've really got Eddie on the brain lately.....I was going thru some old stuff and found all these old announcements that Melanie Monchar from PBJ use to send everyone. There was stuff coming through all the time, and articles and always something happening in Eddie's world. Now it seems so quiet, with barely a crumb of bread for us from time to time. But I think it's all a reflection of Eddie and how he's evolved. He was so open and vulnerable in Je Suis as you say that was so wonderful to see. Now it seems he's really retreated on all fronts from being that open and fresh. Maybe he has to do it for personal survival in a public arena, and maybe it just comes with age too, a slight quieting of the emotions and not the need to share so much. I really hope this documentary reveals more stuff about Eddie, because he still just fascinates and intrigues the hell out of me. - Hi again! Sorry so long away... we went on vacation, our first family vacation and it was lovely. Have made notes of things to do differently, but we had a great time. I saw the clip of Eddie at the BAFTA's and he mentioned the television pilot... he seemed pretty certain it was going to go, so we'll see. I just got some UK stuff and haven't had time to view it yet... not sure if he mentions it at all on there. Eddie was doing frequent text updates on his site, but the newness must have worn off since he's made fewer and fewer posts. Although I don't spend much time on the Blather site because the color scheme annoys me. Looks like Aristrocrats will be hitting theaters this summer, I would imagine it will play at the Wescott Cinema here (it's known for it's Indy films)...   - Hi Teri, oooh how fun, family vacation, where did you go? I just went on vacation myself a few weeks ago to NYC....I love that place, never get enough. Yes Eddie said in that Bafta interview that The Travelers pilot was going to be filmed in LA. So....if it flies as a series, Eddie may be spending alot more time in LA. I don't care for the design of the Blather board at all, hate the colors, makes me ill to look at that screen, but I still check it regularly to keep up in Eddie's world. I actually saw Aristocrats earlier this year, Eddie's part is very, very brief, just a few comments, he doesn't actually do the joke.
