She paid little attention to Cortex and Fifth, who were just beyond her peripheral view. She knew that Braddock was behind her, and wondered silently if he would remain there. She began to take slow falling forward through the snow, the icy wind blowing in her face, but she continued to walk as though she didn't feel a thing...
