I am not talking about billionaire�s or dish washers, I am talking about average people like nurses, secretaries, mechanics, people who work for insurance companies. Billionaires and dish washers you also have in Europe, a good secretary in Germany makes somewhere between 1000$ and 1500$ a month after taxes. Plus the food electricity, gasoline, telephone are much more expensive in Germany than in US. An average working person can buy more in US than in Germany.

My friend Dave (a sergeant) who worked in the same barracks where I was Photo instructor gave up his Army job and went to Chicago to sell shoes in order to make more money. After few months he opened his own company for lending money to people. He went to Florida (about 15 years ago) to expand his banking business and bought a house in Miami for 100.000$ and a baby Benz (today it�s �C� class). Most likely he did not buy a house/condominium at �Porto Vita� or �Brickell Key� or �Santa Maria� for that you pay anywhere between 400.000$ and 10.000.000$ today.

Last week I bought the �architectural digest� magazine and paid 12$ for the SAME magazine you would pay only 5$. That tells a lot!
