No, your point was that our flag was desecrated in which would offend what it represented, remember? If you want to isolate it to Americans, then it still holds, because some see that the flag does not represent what the founding fathers idealized. But the fact that I was showing is that you are offended by flag burning because YOU give the flag meaning and therefore you cause the offense onto yourself. If you didn't give the flag a meaning, you wouldn't be offended and that's the real issue, because you're trying to escape being offended, right? The Iraqi's can't burn the flag because they are forced to respect it and respect cannot be an imposition and that's what you are asking when you want America to ban flag burning.

No, you're the one that thinks it so bad, because you're the one complaining about eveything along with everyone else. If you don't like someone burning a piece of cloth because you give meaning to it, then you should stay in your house and hide under your bed because since you are offended, you are inevitably going to take out that offense on other's as you are doing through legislation. I don't have to be in the military to see that.
