Subject: WINCE on x86 core....do i need to pay Microsoft?

My friend tells me, using the WINCE image on a X86core, still requires us to pay license to microsoft.
WINCE royalty is roughly $4, i guess, in bulk quantity.

But who do i pay to? can't find teh required channels.
perhaps someone here might have the answer.

might be good if compulab had some channel established for this. sure individual users may not have teh required quantity of installations for that $4 pricing.
