that life is a bitch, and she seldom gives you any breaks. And if she ever does offer you anything good, you had better take it, because I can gauran-damn-tee you it won't be offered twice. You will NEVER be GIVEN ANYTHING in this life if all you do is pray for it, and you don't reach out and take it. And if you don't have the balls to take what you want, then there is ALWAYS someone else who will. I am going to find some happiness in this life, and when I find it, I am going to TAKE it. Even if I have to wrest it screaming from the hands of Fate. Even if God or Fate or whatever, deems it "not time".
If all you ever do is sit in a rocking chair and wait for something good to fall in your lap because it "is time", then that is where you will die. Old and alone and miserable, and still waiting for your chance at what "shoulda been".
Life is full of tough choices. Choose what you want and what will make YOU happy, and you will be. But you have to be willing to let go of the things you reject, or you will be of no use to yourself or anyone else. Hold on to what you love, and throw the rest away, it is only garbage that will weigh you down and make you suffer.
