He had come up silently, enoguh to startle. "Yes, she does have a fine horse," he says softly, speaking to Haley. He stroked the horse's muzzle, having a way with animals. He turned his gaze to Kali, glare biting deep. "So you think I'm some sortta sluggart," he said, not making it a question, just watching her. He wasn't sure what he thought of Kyna's sister either. He had not read any minds, he had not done some phsycic (sp?) thing. He simply had said what he thought.
