Subject: Trots

Fighting to keep control of the bad-tempered stallion, a black-haired man runs in. The animal's small ears pin flat, lost in his waving mane, and his short, strong body tenses, preparing to lash out at anyone who dares come close. A girl in the image of her father tries to help by reaching for Tempest's bridle, to help hold his head. Furiously, the stallion's haunches pivot toward her. "Rowan!" pants Dylon, the man. "Get out of the way!" he jerks the horse around him, away from his daughter. "Quick, get the manager so we can talk about boarding fees and get this monster in a stall before he kills someone."
