*She wasn’t to far behind the feline, seeing as she never really was. Wherever he went, she was sure to follow. Or was it the other way around? The leopard was as loyal as they came, never straying far from master’s side. He was like some oversized puppy. So even though she remained out of sight, making no move to follow the large cat inside the apartment, there would be no question she was there. She stood a little right of the door; and just out of sight of anyone inside. Frame relaxed her back leaning into the wall, one leg propped on it, she listened carefully to the events as they unfolded in the room… In truth she had no reason to show herself, Namer could handle this little situation just fine… But where would the fun be in that? Plus she had other plans for these two… She was tired of playing games, and it was time to end this game of Hide and Seek. Sumayah played well, but once more Cyne was the victor. Now it was time to collect her prize.
Weight finally shifting, as she pushed herself forward and away from the wall. As stated earlier games were getting old and she was tired of playing them. And this little round of Cat and Mouse was going no where. Now it was time to get what was hers. Moving slowly forward, stopping just in the doorway, and in the line of sight of those in side. Shoulder leaning into the frame, her gaze slowly moving across the room towards the two winged beauties.*
¿hizole piensa realmente que usted huye pequeño ave.? (Did you actually think you get away, little bird?)
*pushing herself forward once more, she silently stepped into the apartment. Silent strides slowly carrying her across the room to where she once more came to a rest at the leopard’s side, her gaze never faltering from the two Avians who now sat only few feet away. Hand lifting slowly to rest on the cat’s side, fingers working slowly through it fur. The movement looked absentminded, as if it was more of a habit then her actually thinking about doing it. Shaking her head, a hint of a smirk pulling at her lips though it didn’t last long at all, the show of emotion fading as quickly as it appeared.*
No tan listo como yo le pensó era... ah bien.. Realmente apesadumbrada él tengo que recurrir a esto, pequeño ave (not as smart as I thought you were… oh well… I am really sorry it has to resort to this little bird)
*her lyrics softened as she said this, making her sound almost sincere if it wasn’t for the almost singsong tone to them…. Fingers working down the cat’s shoulder a hint of pressure being applied to it before she let her hand drop to her side.*
Namer la niña (Namer the girl)
*She stood proudly, with her back straight, arms behind her back, with her right hand clutching that of her left wrist. She had an air about her of someone who didn’t expect to be disobeyed. Often called arrogant, it was no mystery as to why. There wasn’t a humble bone in her body. She was known as one of, if not the best at what she did, and she was proud of that title. Which was exactly why, it was such a big deal when someone like Sumayah got free. It made her look bad, and she didn’t do well with looking bad.*
Getting tired of Ria and her stupid tricks. Though I expected better from you Zipporah. Such potential, pity to see you turn out more like your mother.
*words still holding that singsong tone them, though now a hint of mock disappointment mixed in with it. She had expected a lot more out of the girl though. Seeing as her younger brother was the best of the New York building. Such great blood gone to waste, and that disappointed her… but no use worrying about it. She had more important slaves to worry about. Frame shifting now, her attention moving to the male at Zipporah/Sumayah’s side*
who’s your friend Zipporah?
*Finally acknowledging him, the singsong tone gone now, it falling away leaving her voice cold and empty. Crazy events just followed people such as Sumayah. She was nothing more then a slave after all. As for what he was to do. Nothing. Nothing much he could do. Though in truth at the moment Cyne look far from dangerous, something that wasn’t really that surprising. At a mere 4’4 and weighing no more then 60lbs, she appeared no older then maybe 9. But at the risk of sounding… cliché one should never judge a book by it’s cover… and if the outfit (which is in no way childish) didn’t prove that she was indeed dangerous. Maybe the sword on her back, and the leopard that was obviously at her bidding would. She was far from innocent, and harmless though she had the act down pretty good… and as Vance was probably warned earlier (knowing Sumayah), not someone he wants to get involved with*
