Before bidding please read about these breeds... Border Collies: People do not realize how active this breed is when they get it. BC are very smart and learn things quickly, however, they loves to play. These are not sit by the fireplace dogs. Now they may do that sometimes, but they perfer to chase things. They are herding dogs. They like to round things up. That's what makes them feel good. I'm not trying to turn you off on BC ( I just bought 2 from Countryside ), but I want to make you aware of how active they are. BCs are sweet dogs, but they like to work. Labrador Retriever: You see that retriever part in the labs name? Labs love water. Don't want hair in your pool? You better train the lab to stay out, because they like to jump in. Labs are sporting dogs and like to hunt. So if you have your lab outside and it sees something and catches it, well, just know that's what he was bred to do. Labs are also very active. However, if they are not worked they will get fat and not want to work. So it is important that you understand that the lab needs and wants your attention. Labs are family dogs. They love kids and such. But watch out for that tail, it wags so much it has a tendancy to knock things over. Doberman: These guys get a bad rap I think. I'm sure they could be used as mean, gaurd dogs. But they are really sweet. Dobbies are actually trained to be mean. But it's always a good thing to check the temperment before buying. I'm not that familar with Dobbies, but I know a little. I do know that the dobbie is another active breed. And if given the chance they'll take advantage of the owner. *Remember, you must present your research on the breed at the time when you bid.
