Rotor was silent for some time, not really certain how to respond to Rampage's pain. He thought about patting the Predacon's hand, but remembering who they were, realized it would be...odd. He thought about the new recruit to Team Orion who shared the name of Fireshard's deceased sibling, but realized it was mere coincidence. Among Cybertronians, such names were common. He also realized his mind was taking him on a total tangent, as a way to not deal with the pain. The gruff security officer had been doing such things for a long time, forced alwyas to hide his emotions in order to better carry out his responsibility. And now, that he was taking a course of action already so deviated from the norm, dealing with one criminal to catch another, he worried that maintaining such habits was silly now. He would address the issue, but he did not offer any physical gesture of condolence.

"That...that must have been hard. I won't press any more; it's enough to know now that Fireshard's loss would be doubly...I mean if she...she'd going to be fine. We're going to see that this doesn't happen again. The staff here is good, real good, and with FORTRAN himself working on her, there shouldn't be a problem.

Now then, since I believe we can pinpoint her departure from the holorooms, a talk with PHOTRON is in order to see if he witnessed anything....nothing like a hologram's memory to show us EXACTLY what happened. Then we go to the brig, see if a certain character is willing to talk. It's a slim chance, but the only leads we have.

Rotor took another sip of his beverage, noting by his internal camera that Teresa was still sitting where he had left her. Knowing now that it was demons now banished responsible for the scuffle with his squirrels, and Scaleblade herself who was responsible for Fireshard's condition, it seemed the residential sector was safe. He ran through the cameras in the other corridors, wondering when the derelict sections would be repaired and cameras reinstalled so they could be monitored as well. Satisfied that all was well, he switched off his link to the station's security cameras so he could give Rampage his undivided attention...
