Subject: Union Election/ The Welker Team

To all 1108 members...This is an election year. I hope you all realize that the local no longer is effective nor are they operating in this best interest of this membership. Some of them are retireing I say lets retire the rest of them and vote them GONE.....We no longer can afford to give Welker and his team 3 more years the price is to high. Time and time again they have proven they no longer have the nerve or desire to deal with Verizon and it's managers they way they need to be dealt with. If we turn a blind eye this election we and those yet to come will be unable to stop this run away train. Just look at what is going on and decide for yourself if 3 more years of "they can do that" is what you want. Good Luck....I work in the wireless division and know first hand about being screwed by a union that is all talk. At a time when verizon is on the attack toward it's employees do you realy want your first line of defense to be a bunch of guy's who are more concerned about what there having for lunch.
