(I apologize for any words that may not be readable. It's extremely cold this morning and my hands are refusing to warm up.)
After the incident of the Dragonettes crashing on their first try at flying, Jalina and I run to their aid and help them over to the rock.
I say " That didn't go well at all. How about some wing exercises first." I take Daroth over away from Jalina to help him break his wings in. I help him flap them up and down slowly until he has the hang of it.
Jalina does the same for Sereth.
The dragons get back on the rock and Sereth tries her luck first
" Do as I told you!" Jalina says as Sereth goes for the jump Sereth flaps her wings as hard and as fast as she can. The little Red is keeping herself aloft fifteen full inches off the ground.
Daroth goes for the same thing. He has better luck and can fly around.
The Dragonettes tire after thirty minutes of gliding, hovering, and flying.
" They diserve something special. " I say as I pick Daroth up off the ground. Jalina and I take the dragonettes to the Weyr so they can sleep. With the Fire Lizards sitting on our shoulders, and the Dragonettes sleeping in our chamber, we make our way to the dining hall...
