A plush crimson carpet extends from the intricate double-doors to the base of the King’s throne, an immense golden chair, a deep green emerald winking lightly in the fire’s glow. Three separate, smaller thrones are set to the side. Prince Caleb’s first, on the right side of his father, his chair with a sun-cut ruby embedded into the crown piece. The two to the left are more petite, belonging to the Princesses, Amalthea and Aura. Amalthea’s throne holds a delicate ivory colored pearl in its crown piece, and a black opal in that of Aura’s. Long tables run the expanse of either wall, tapestries and torches adorn the walls, and a wide fireplace spreads three armlengths against one wall, if the need should arise, the throne room is used as both ballroom, and place for meeting.
