Subject: My friendship with Adam Studeny

You know that I am not an Ohio State fan. Most Bulldogs fans know this and that I like Michigan. However, there has been no other person better than that of McKinley safety Adam Studeny.
I first came across him when he was a freshman and he and I have been close friends since. But I'll never forget most of the good times he and I had. I recall him telling me about a game against Akron Buchtel when a player had made fun of his family and his religion. The player got hit so hard by Studeny that he was lost for the rest of the season.
Studeny can be direct at times because he and I got in a heated but not bitter discussion when I chastised Jim Tressel for taking the Ohio State post. As usual, I got blasted for my comments, I mean, here was somebody taking a stand for a respected coach like Tressel against my hatred for OSU. He asked me one question, succinctly: "What has Tressel done to you?" If I thought I could sway him into not liking Tressel, he vocally hit me harder than I was hit before. I recall him getting peeved off at me when I responded to him claiming that Ohio State would be the best team in the nation, I responded with "Saying Ohio State is the best in the nation is like saying Massillon is the best team in Stark County." I said that because I portrayed Michigan as McKinley and Ohio State as Massillon. That quickly brought a shut-up message from Studeny. The last straw came when Maurice Clarett ran for 425 yards in a 57-9 win over McKinley. I tried to coax Studeny into not liking Clarett becaue he was an Ohio State Buckeye, but look at who are the national champions. I told Studeny afterwards that Tressel had my respect again and that I wished him and Ohio State nothing but the best in the future seasons to come.
I stopped in to visit him and the rest of my teachers and other friends. He has made me a better person for what I once used to be. I have a better acceptance of Tressel being the Buckeyes head football coach. Here's to my #1 best friend, Adam Studeny: Thanks for the good times. I look forward to seeing you again. I'd rather be coached by a Jim Tressel rather than John "Pooper Scooper" Cooper. Thanks for the good times and DAWGS ROCK IN 2003!!!! BEAT M---ILLON!!!!!!! 4-0 against the Federal League!!!!!! THE WAY OF THE CROSS!!!!!!!
P.S. The way of the Cross as in Brian Cross, the boss, who never likes a loss! GO CANTON MCKINLEY BULLDOGS!!!!!!!
