Gender and Age: A girl of 14 turns
Appearance/Personality: Kuori is of an average height at 5'3'', though her thin child-like frame seems to diminish this stature, and the proportional and dermalogical imperfections of the early stages of adolescence are readily visible to even a careless eye. However, any doubts about this young woman's capabilities can immediately be assuaged by the shining green eyes behind a mass of tangled black curls constantly being tucked behind her ears, and a bright smile to reflect the youth's lust for life and insatiable curiosity. As for clothing, Kuori�s only permanent item is a small, novice carving of a firelizard she�s placed on a string that once belonged to her mother. As for her changing apparel, Kuori owns quite a few dresses bought for her by her faster, a well-off, and fairly traditionalistic Journeyman Healer. She generally sneaks a pair of breeches beneath them however, just in case she happens to find a tree or cliff that needs climbing. What this girl truly wants is a good pair of pants, and a chance to show that she can handle herself well in the world.
History: Kuori was born to a woman of the Healercraft, though her birth-mother was originally from Igen Weyr. When she was three and with a new brother only 9 months old, her mother was killed in an unexpected Threadfall, and from then on, her mother�s husband Nicas took over both parental roles, providing a pleasant, if sometimes hectic and always incredibly over-protective family life. When Kuori was 7, her father remarried a Holdwoman and though Avlara has never taken the place of Kuori�s mother, she is certainly well loved by both Kuori and her brother, who grew under Avlara�s influence as responsible and intelligent young members of Pern. Now as Kuori turns 14, she has been Searched. After a brief dispute with her father on the matter, Kuori convinced him of her safety among the Weyrfolk, and promised that she wouldn�t forget to visit him no matter what the outcome of her trip to the Weyr should be�
Skills: Kuori knows first aid and some basic medical procedures, and can concoct various medicines from herbs and local plantlife. She�s also quite capable at home tasks such as sewing, cooking and basic fix-its, and can fish with the best of �em ^_^
