Description: Keao has red hairr. It's long and unruly and is often in her face, no matter how hard she ties it back. She's a girl of medium height who prefers to dress in dark colors, like brown and gray. She's blind, and walks with a long slender staff which she arcs along the ground in front of her for navigation.
Personality: Keao is fiery, fiesty, and independent. She refuses to give anything up without a fight and refuses to listen to anyone who believes her blindness is a hindrance of any kind. She has a soft spot for children and animals, and is very good at caring for and training them. She doesn't make friends easily, but when she does she is considered imensely loyal and true to anyone.
History: When Keao was born blind, her mother decided that she would live as normal a life as possible, and to that end Keao was taught to care for and defend herself. When she was seven, her mother married a minor Holder and they had a son, Keao's brother Tirle. Her mother died two Turns ago, an event that still sadens Keao today. Her stepfather drank a lot and neglected Keao and Tirle. When Keao heard that some blind people were working as wherhandlers, she knew that that was the job for her. So leaving Tirle with relatives and promising to come back for him once she got a good start, Keao set off for New Isle Weyr and her new life.
