Subject: Ok, I know what you're gonna say...

((To make things perfectly clear, I DO fully know that I own almost half the Weyr and probably shouldn't add these two in... but, it's different with these two. I made them up AGES ago, and kinda played them in my mind forever, so I figured that, seeing asI already knew them as well as my first character here, I might as well play them in actuality.))

Description-
Her skin is a slightly dark, creamy tan-brown colour, which in Old Earth could�ve made her be considered White-Hispanic or something of the sort. However, she has almond-like shaped eyes, which show a very slight European-Asian mix, which is living proof that the Pernese have all mixed in races by now. Her dark brown eyes give her face a bit of accent, and, with her bushy brown locks pulled back and her face painted slightly, she looks alot like a porcelain doll, strangely. Her hair is a dark brown, which was once extremely bushy but has calmed down considerably through the turns. She�s tall, with long arms and legs, and has a somewhat feminine appearance�nothing special, but not straight lines, either. Nothing too exceptional the first time one looks at her, but her face does have a nice look now that she�s cleared up from her teenage turns.

Lumina is a very sweet girl, and a deep thinker. Some might call her childish, but she really isn�t, just slightly undereducated in some areas and willing to ask questions. She has a bad habit of believing many things she hears, but thankfully has a friend to help her out. She�s very sweet and kind, and can be considered a pushover, but in actuality has a strong will and determination uncanny compared to her other aggressive qualities (a.k.a. nothing. ^_^) She�s a strong leader sometimes, and a kind one.

Strengths/Weaknesses-
She is very good at remembering things, and keeping promises. She�s good with her hands, and knows a little about everything. However, she�s not a good swimmer, and she tends to trust people too much, though if she is betrayed, she�ll always have others on her side to make sure nothing goes out of hand.

History-
Lumina was a bastard daughter of a greenrider and a Lord Holder, though she doesn�t talk about that much. She was raised by her foster father, a greenrider, and later his bluerider weyrmate, until she was seven. At that point, her �Papa� (greenrider) was killed in Threadfall, and then �Poppy� (bluerider) was driven into a deep depression due to the death of his blue in the very same Fall. Still too child-like for the other Riders to explain what happened, she was sent off to Bitra Hold with the story that Papa and Poppy couldn�t take care of her at the moment. There, she lived with her biological father�s sister, who told her lightly the truth about her beloved �parents� and, when she was fourteen, the story of her birth.
She grew up with her Auntie until she was fourteen, when she became a drudge at the nearby Weyr. She hoped beyond hope to one day be a candidate... but that was an empty dream that has yet to be fulfilled.
When she was fifteen, however, her life took a spin. She found her Poppy living at the Weyr, re-impressed (which confused her to no end) to a handsome brown and living with a new weyrmate, a male greenrider. However, she was disturbed to hear that, before becoming weyrmate to the greenrider, Poppy�s brown had flown a green with a female rider, and she had given birth. The child, who was born when Lumina herself was eight, had been fostered at the Weyr, but never found a lasting guardian. He�d been sent to another Weyr, but was coming back, and Lumina instantly fell in love with the young seven-turn-old. Though it was tough, she tamed him (anyone read The Little Prince?) and decided to foster him herself. Everyone feared that she was too young to handle a child, being only eight turns older (exactly�he was born on her eighth b-day), but as she was the only one he�d listen to, it was made to happen.

Description-
Already taller than Lumina, he has a light skin tone and dirty blonde hair that�s swept around his face nonchalantly. His eyes are a soft blue-brown colour, and always look slightly distant (no, he�s not stoned or anything). He�s not exactly Mr. muscles, but that doesn�t mean he isn�t strong in his own ways. He�s always very calm and laid back now that his past has stopped affecting him as much, and this can be told in his stature, though he is fiercely loyal, even if he doesn�t prove it in shouted words or aggressiveness. He�s always a good person to talk to, because he�s very truthful and calm, and has many good qualities, even if he is against rank. He�s always willing to prove himself, but he�s not too terribly rash.

Strengths/Weaknesses-
He�s intelligent, strong, and completely responsible, despite his reckless teenage hormones. He�s more than willing to prove himself, which can get him in trouble sometimes. He has no temper whatsoever, though, so while he can be a nuisance, he is always nice to have around. He�s dead shy, though, and doesn�t trust easily at all. Once said trust is received, however, it�s a pleasant thing to have. Responsible, but somewhat rebellious.

History-
He knows his past fully, and used to despise everyone, including himself and especially his parents. He always hated his father for allowing his brown to go out of his control, and hated his mom for not wanting him. He came to resent all types of guardians, and then authority, because of this, and was a nuisance to all who came to him.
However, when he was seven, they brought him back to the place of his birth. He was angry, and even snapped at a girl eight turns older than he was for no apparent reason. However, when he accidentally tripped her, his responsible nature stepped in, and he calmly asked her if she was all right and that he was sorry.
He talked with her for the next month, each time steadily opening his shut soul just a little, and discovered that he was talking to the girl that spent the first seven turns of her life with his dad, whom she called �Poppy�. Deciding with her that he hadn�t given the brownrider a chance, he let her introduce them, and came to terms with him. Then, he and the girl were inseparatable.
Then the time came for him to go to a new family, and he didn�t hesitate to ask permission to have the fifteen-turn-old talk care of him. Though everyone was reluctant (except Lumina), he was allowed to, and he grew to be a better child with her as his �big sis�. He�s always wanted to impress, and that will never change.
