After a stallion joins, he must claim a mare, a maximum of three, until more mares join, or he can go to Stallion's Hills and live there. Mares must go with the stallion, no exceptions! After a stallion has claimed three mares, he must claim or challenge for an area. After enough stallions have joined that they have more than three mares and there are no availabe areas, stallions can fight other stallions for areas. If the previous occupier wins, the challenger leaves and must find another area. If the newcomer wins, the other stallion's mares stay at the area with the new stallion, and the other stallion must find more mares. In either instance, the winner gets all the mares, his and the other stallion's. Colts get kicked out of herds at the age of three. They must either claim three mares and get their own area, or join the stallion herd. When you join, be descriptive! You don't nesscesarily have to just post your name, age, breed, etc. You can add an entrance, or even a (short) story or poem-like writing that introduces the horse, while telling a little about it.
