is the best, bar none. A man who isn't, on the surface, the best, but like all gems, shines when you really need it. With soooooo many of these stereotypical alpha heroes (I am truly, *truly* bored with them), Freddie is like a breath of fresh air.
I also loved that Heyer took her stereotypical hero and made him the guy to lose the girl!!
