AnnaBella smiles at Shayde, worried creases lining her face. "But Shayde," she touches his arm lightly "If your gone training to become a knight, what'll happen to me?"

Shayde looks at her, cupping his hands under her face. "Girl, you'll be a royal servant. You'll help in the royal barn, and maybe even get a chance to ride a royal unicorn. You'll meet a handsom young lad, and in a couple 'o years get married and raise a fam'ly. An' I'll visit you on ev'ry 'cassion."

AnnaBella wipes away a tear, holding onto his arm still and with the other, grasping Rosebud's mane. "I'll be all alone Shayde. Rosebud be alivin' in th' barn and-and-, I ain't got no-un to care for me, comfort me." she burries her head into Rosebuds neck.

"Aw, Anny, you are old enough to care for yourself, a smart girl like you should be able to care, and if you work in the stables, you'll see me ev'ry day." says Rosebud, quite used to her neck being hanged on.
