The position that you pose is interesting becuase it is contradictory. First of all, if we ever do hope to realize the anarchist dream then we have to use the capitalists tool against them. that means utilizing any means of media we can get our hands on, including the internet. This board is not contradictory to our beliefs because it doesn't cost us anything, and the spread of ideas is well worth getting a computer. Anarchists are not opposed to organization, in fact we are in favor of even MORE organization that is present. we are in favor of networks of people volutarily associated with each other, and these simple networks will spin a web that is more complex than existing forms of organization and more democratic and egalitarian. Having no organization is not necessarily living like animals. Although i am not even in favor of no organization, as are most anarchists, which is why ew have so many websites, newsletters, and groups. the dictonary definition does not nearly begin to grasp the true definition of anarchy. anarchy is, yes, a stateless society. but are you saying that is there were no state, you would kill rape and plunder others just because there is no force to stop you, or is it for "everyone else" who "needs" the state to stop them? Dont you think eveyone else feels the same way? and if you say, "what about crime?", then i say, crime will be drastically reduced becuase 90% of laws are designed to protect property, and if everyone has what they need and has access to anything they need to make what they want, there would be no need for stealing, or 90% of the laws. and with the other 10% designed to protect people, most crime from that will be eliminated too becuase people will foster caring and tolerance and cooperation and the stresses which cause a lot of mostly good people to do bad things will be eliminated because they will have all they need, and wont have any authority to answer to about how they choose to live their life. so, in conclusion, anarhcism is a very logical, and reasonable way of living without fear of instability of needs or of oppression or repression or of inequality. i hope you undstand more now, and if not, you can go to http://www.infoshop.org and find out a lot more, and i hope you do.~Smoke
