Subject: two books seem to contradict themselves........... Author: Jabby [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 01:32:22 03/20/05 Sun well if anyone can clear this up for me i would be gratefull, but as i have read things elsewhere i am begining to think it may be a twist which J.K.Rowling may clear up later. in harry potter and the chamber of secerets (page 182 if ne ones interessted) harry is in riddles memory and proffessor dippit has just asked him if hs parents are dead, to which riddle replys "'my mother died just after i was born, sir. they told me at the orphanage she lived long enough to name me: Tom after my father, Marvolo after my grandfater.'" this is all very nice and everything but in harry potter and the goblet of fire we learn that Tom was grown up when his parents (and himself which is another confusion) were "terrified" to death. so how can his mother have both died just after given birth and then died again when Tom was grown up? and now im on the subject who was the dark haired boy Frank saw outside the riddle house? some people say it was Harry some say it was Tom Riddle somehow! and if Tom is dead how can he be Voldemort, and i know that some where voldemort says he killed his parents? sorry this is so long but i am really getting more and more confussed when i think about it Thanx alot XxX Jabby XxX [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ]
