It's basically difference in packaging. There's no difference in songs except edits on the sampler, which are interesting. Actually, talking of edits, the promos often have interesting bits chopped out. Get Myslef Arrested is a good example. You know the intro, a big "ah!" and it goes into the two main chords where you'd sing "I wear the same shoes..." and there's the guitar riff? Well, when you'd imagine yourself singing the part "don't try and call me" it cuts from there and goes straight into the verse, sounds HUGELY odd. It also messes around with solo bits and gets rid of the "he only goes for guys he knows" bit. If you see any wierd promos I suggest you get them, they're well worth the interest factor. Alternatively, nagg me and I'll post them up here. Oh yeah - watch out for a change of address soon, the server is stopping .f2s.com things so I'll have to move my page! :(
Also, check out the XFM website for something about a record by Gomez called In Our Gun to be released on the 18th or March. I've emailed them and are waiting for confirmation that it's our lads not some wierd American punk band (or indeed some guy called Eddie...)!
