Can't figure how Bradford team work! They probably dont even have direct members list...and they talk about refunding them.
> Dear Bradford Members
>
> GREETINGS
> I extend my warmest and most heartfelt
> greetings to all. No one knows better than me
> the trials and tribulation of the past several
> months. I realize that many of you have been
> experiencing difficulties as well. Please
> understand that I have felt your pain and
> wished a thousand times that I could change
> things and take it away. But it appears that
> this was a necessary time of hardship for all
> of us. It is not how we live when times are
> easy that moulds our character, but how we
> perform when times are hard. Strength comes
> from stretching the soul and remaining faithful
> and stalwart in the face of events and people
> who would destroy us.
>
> Many of you have been critical about the lack
> of communication. I understand. Now my request
> is that you try to understand how difficult
> these past couple of months have been for me
> and the Bradford Team. Most likely you will
> never truly realize what it is like to come
> under the scrutiny and review we have
> experienced. And, it is doubtful that any of
> you have even the smallest perception of the
> great strides we have made in securing a
> stronger and more viable status in the
> financial world. Somehow it is a bit
> paradoxical that many of you have been so quick
> to complain yet so willing to benefit from the
> fruits of our labors and triumphs. Unjust as
> this may be in some cases, it is still the
> fundamental goal and mission of the Bradford
> Group to be a source of hope and help for the
> “little guy” and those struggling.
> Unfortunately, the reality of this recent
> financial global crisis has limited our ability
> to perform as we planned and wished to achieve
> to serve this goal.
>
> While the world economy seems to be getting
> better, a little. The international financial
> and investment industry is still experiencing
> the toughest challenge of this decade. It is
> different from the last global financial down
> turn of 1997 where there were still some
> regions in the world which were able to remain
> unaffected. The strongest of these were later
> able participate in assisting with the global
> restructuring effort and to restore balance in
> world wealth. This effort can be seen through
> the many rescue activities of the World Bank,
> the I. M. F., and adjustments in, or reform of,
> government policies. It has been almost 5
> years from that time. The world has not fully
> recovered from its previous scars and now is
> getting another deep cut from the effects of
> the Sept. 11th event. This time, the down side
> of this effect has hit directly into each
> individual's welfare and pocket. No one, no
> program, no industry, no country seems capable
> to escape the severe financial damage of this
> world war like crisis.
>
> The management team of the BFG has tried very
> hard with more than what we can say is the best
> of our effort. We had gone way beyond the edge
> trying to keep the program going so we could
> still make payments to our members. I
> constantly reminded my associates and my staff
> members to bite our tongues, swallow our pain,
> and endure days of sleepless and pressure just
> to concentrate on working to untie all the
> knots that create obstacles for our work. Once
> knot after another was untied with a very
> costly effort. But, no sooner did we get our
> feet back on steady ground after one crisis,
> then something else would happen beyond our
> expectation. All previous familiar stories are
> not the same anymore. The global investment
> and international wire tranfers are no longer
> allowed for operation with the ease and freedom
> we had come to know. No longer could we count
> on things happening within their own
> pre-arranged time frame. Rather we are now
> under rigid new compliance requirements of a
> new monitoring system either implied or clearly
> stated in writing. There are so many outside
> forces and factors involved that make it so
> things do not happening the way it they used
> to. There's not a single genius or system that
> is capable to control all the facts and
> guarantee that the resulting outcome will be
> 100% as it was originally planned. With no
> exception, we had shared the same bitter pain
> of this result with the rest of the industry.
>
> Thus, promises to members could not be met.
> Disappointment and complaints had arisen from
> everywhere. In the past few days, I have taken
> the time to read many of your unanswered
> letters to us. Jenny and Peter know how much I
> love to communicate with each one of you in a
> very personal manner so they saved these couple
> hundred letters in a big file for my review
> whenever it is possible. Some dated back to
> Oct. and some just arrived few days ago.
> Please forgive me for not being able to write
> back to each one of you and accept this letter
> as
> my reply to you all. I'm asking you to put
> yourself in my situation so you may understand
> the hardships that the management team of BFG
> and myself have gone through. Everyone
> understands communication is important but
> since we don't even have time enough to sleep,
> it can't even be done. All efforts in the past
> few months have been devoted to work and find
> ways to make payments to you.
>
> Since Sunday night, I spend many hours through
> the nights reading your emails. Lots of time I
> could not stop myself from tears when reading
> many of your touching words. It meant so much
> to us to receive your kind words of
> encouragement for us to continue our job
> through this challenge. Other times, I sadly
> shared with you your disappointment in us when
> your payment didn't arrive as expected.
> Needless to say, your frustration of this delay
> is the same as our frustration with the delay
> from the international financial system at the
> top level. However,
> I don't blame you since I understand that in
> this industry when delays or trouble happen, we
> have to work at the situation with our best
> effort of co-operation to resolve the case.
> But for the individual member who has not had
> thorough understanding of either the situation
> or the industry, it is hard not to get nervous
> or have doubts in the genuine intention of the
> management team. More than anybody else, we
> understand our standing in the industry and the
> difference between being a serious participant
> of the system and the amateur player. While
> causing a great amount of damage to our
> business and activities, in long run this
> global crisis may provide a positive support to
> our long term success by creating new
> opportunities for professional people like our
> team since this current condition will not
> allow “pretend to be” experts or participants
> to last or exist much longer.
>
> But at this moment, it may be best to give you
> back the freedom of choice for finding the
> place you want to be or placing your funds. I
> don't want to be accused later by any of you
> for taking away your opportunity to participate
> in some internet programs that you truly
> believe as the most genuine, effective and
> integrity programs. This home of Bradford is
> designed for only people who want to be here
> and who are willing to take part in building
> this home. Of course, no home can be built
> without going through good and hard days of
> testing and working.
>
> After giving it a very deep thought, I came to
> the conclusion of closing the BFG for good and
> make refunds to all members. At the same time,
> we continue to make payments to a number of
> members as explain later in this letter.
>
> By closing the BFG, we have a choice. We can
> simply choose the option of a settlement with
> members through the process of refunding the
> full deposit amount plus the promised
> guaranteed 10% of return profit. The legal
> process allows us to make partial payments or
> settle down with a mutual agreed amount based
> on the actual ability of the BFG. This final
> amount could be less than the original deposit
> or the balance of original deposit by
> subtracting all the received profit plus the

> original deposit was $5500.00, you have
> received 3 payouts for $1,100.00 each for the
> total of $3,300.00. The refund amount could be

> $2,750.00
>
> As you all probably know very well, our

> Those who are close to us know clearly how we

> I am not talking about it here to get your

>
> I have seen in the last few years how many

>
> In our home of Bradford, where the philosophy

>
> Since the time we received your deposit till

>
> Just take a moment to compare us with other
> programs and be honest with yourselves. Have
> we done much more than many other program

> you are the answer for this special effort from

>
> In the next 2 weeks, every member will receive

>
> THE BEST EFFORT OF OUR PERFORMANCE & INTEGRITY:
>
> Now as the BFG is officially closed with the
> offer from the management team for a settlement
> with full refund of deposit. Without taking
> away your previously received profit plus our
> promise to cover the minimum 10% profit for

> best interest of our loyal members especially
> in this crisis time.
>
> Hopefully, this decision will free you from
> your worry of the possibility of losing your
> principal deposit plus giving back to you the
> choice to find the best opportunity for the

> can do is all we can do. However, together we

> ordinary group would be able to make or go
> through. You have shown your faith and support
> to us through the fact that you still hang in
> here with us up to this point, why should we
> just shut the door and leave you in the cold
> without assisting and guiding you to the next
> and better future through steps that may be
> done. To materialize this genuine and sincere
> intention to reality, I have decided to
> continue working on our part after the closing
> of BFG to generate more cash fund so we will
> still be able to share some of our profit to
> our exclusive, privilege and loyal members in
> the future.
>
> Many of your letters that I just read in the
> last few days had expressed clearly your
> understanding of the situation and our effort
> plus giving us the credit of being “MORE THAN
> FAIR & GENEROUS”. We deeply thank you from the
> bottom of our hearts for this thoughtfulness,
> caring and understanding. As the leader of
> the team, I would like to reassure you that
> regardless of the fact that the BFG is now
> closing, the philosophy of the team is to be
> carried on by you and by the management team.
> It's not worth it just to say, but only to
> prove through action. We shall show you how we
> carry on and practice what we preach not only
> in words but in the result of our future
> performance.
>
> At this time it might be useful to remind us
> all why we started The Bradford Group in the
> first place. The Bradford Group was designed
> to give an extraordinary opportunity to
> ordinary people who were (are) sincerely
> seeking something better in life. The part that
> most individuals cannot seem to grasp is that
> in order to have a better life, you must first
> build yourself and then serve and help others.
> What you become is far more important that what
> you have. If you are looking to a program to
> pay the rent or buy the groceries, you have not
> caught the vision at all. We are not here so
> you can be on Bradford welfare roles. We are
> here so you can make something of the future
> and help make the world a better place.
>
> Next, probably this is what you have been
> waiting for to know when do you get your funds
> back and what will come first. Recently, I
> received a great advice from one of our
> Affiliate Manager, Mr. Kevin Straub. He
> suggested the BFG management team should apply
> our policy to pay members who have received
> little or no profit to this point. Thus, it
> should be our first priority to pay members of
> the Sept. program, and the Oct. Triple program
> besides members of Short Term-High Return as we
> decided earlier. Members of monthly programs,
> who had received a good amount of profit from
> previous payouts should yield the priority for
> refund to those who has less or none payment to
> date.
>
> The following information is provided to detail
> the order of priority that will be followed for
> resolving the outstanding commitments. Your
> cooperation, understanding and helpful
> participation is of the utmost importance.
>
> 1. SHORT TERM-HIGH RETURN PROGRAM W/ OCT.
> 15/2001 MATURITY DATE:
> _First priority for refund plus an additional

> 2. SHORT TERM-HIGH RETURN PROGRAM W/ JAN.
> 15/2001 MATURITY DATE:
> _Second priority for refund plus an additional

>
> 3. SEPTEMBER PROGRAM & OCT. TRIPLE:
> _Third priority for refund plus an additional

>
> 4. MONTHLY PAYOUT PROGRAM W/ NONE or BEFORE

> _All of these accounts will be taken into

>
> On behalf of the BFG Management team, I would

>
> Last, we reserve the most respect and
