Subject: In need of some information for school project...will be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I am currently a senior at Perry High school. My CollegePrep 12th grade English has been studying Vietnam for the past couple of weeks. We have been assigned a research paper, and was told to pick a theme/subject that interested you. I picked "morality." What this means is "why was/is it ok to fight in a war, killing thousands of people, when all through our childhood years, we are taught not to even hit people?" I thought that an actual Vietnam veteran would be able to help me best. Any opinions, comments, suggestions, etc. will be much appreciated. Learning about Vietnam has greatly influenced the way I look at wars. I will be willing to talk to you if you have questions for me also. Thank you so much for your time. :)

Sincerely,
Dana
