Subject: Forgiveness

I’m writing this letter out of my pitiness on Miss Zhao Wei case. I’m not really a big fans of her but I just think that the public is just too unfair and putting too much pressure on her.

I know that she is wrong to wear a designer clothes that show a design ‘SIMILAR’ to the Japanese flag (that’s what all the Chinese people think). But from my personal opinion, although she has done the wrong things but she still don’t deserve the ill treatment from the public. Why I say so? As a professional artist, she must do her job professionally and personal feelings should not be included in her job.

By the way she have also make an apology when she found out that her appearance have unintentionally hurt others feeling. This means that she didn’t do it deliberately. Therefore why can’t the public just forgiven her and give her a chance to repent. I’m sure that she will not allow the same mistake to happened again.

I’m sure that everyone that know Chinese must have seen the drama named ‘My Fair Princess’ and of course Miss Zhao Wei is one of the artist in it. In this drama, we do have learned what is call humanity and others valuable lesson but the most important value is ‘FORGIVENESS’. Why we still want to remember the hatred that had happened a long time ago. Why can’t we just forgive and forget? I think in Buddhism, it does also teach us how to obtained forgiveness and how to used it. Since the Buddha can forgive all our sins that are more serious, then we can also forgive Miss Zhao Wei on her carelessness since she didn’t do it deliberately.

I just hope that the public can view this case more rationally and don’t make a judgment that blurred by hatred. NAMO AMITABHA BUDDHA
