Subject: Luke Warm Performance

Montreal Review (sort of):
*The top ranked defense of last season surrender 32 points.

*Lawrence Phillps has yet another typical game... 14 carries for 52 yards... I suppose this is better than last years typical 20 carries for 50 yard games that we saw last year.

*Welch is a better 'HB' and Phillips a better 'FB; if you look at the ratings, but they traditionally flop if I make the switch.

*Lyck Returns a punt return for a TD

*Cortez makes his yearly miss of an extra point early

On a side note:
One can only hope that their HB can hang around for 13 seasons, and approach 10,000 career yards.

It still baffles me how a 12th year Bobby Phillips has a 22 carry, 99 yard performance on the road with stats like these

Phillips, Bobby 12 87 85 81 79 83 83 74 74
