I've followed Nick Hallings career for years, back in 92 or 93 he was doing games for Screensport.

Lots of commentators come and go but i like it when someone like Halling sticks with it through thick and thin. I mean hes excellent for NFL Europe, also the NFL think so highly of him they let him do the Carolina/Atlanta play by play for Fox last year.

I do like Halling, yes he might be annoying at times but hes done a ton of games and really knows his stuff, hes not one of these ex stars who they've tried to convert to a commentator.
