Hi,

here are the answers:

>1) Some DL Ferrara killed me with 4 sacks in my game
>against Orlando. I need to know which side of the
>O-line he faced so that I can make some changes.

as David has noted DE1 is opposed to T1 and DT1 to G1.
(In the starting line up)

If a player is injured or fatigued the next number of the
same position fills in. So a G3 would substitute G1 or
G2 if they leave the game.

>2) Which LB is the middle LB. I would want different
>ability players at each of the LB spots.

in 4-3 def LB1 and 3 are outside, LB2 is inside
in 3-4 LB1 and 4 are outside LB2 and 3 are inside.

Unfortunately the def gameplan we use contains plays
of both types (more 4-3 then 3-4) so sometimes a LB3
switches from out to inside. This can happen
from one play to the next and again back in the following.

>3) Why does my QB rarely throw to anyone except WR1
>and WR2. How do I get my other WRs in the game?

almost impossible to do if you are not designing plays
on your own.
First the game decides what offensive play to call
and so what personell is on the field.

a 3rd WR is only used in long passing situations
(mostly then in 3rd downs or at the end of halves)

Even then the QB usually checks the WR in a predetermined
sequence that usually starts WR1,WR2,TE1,HB1,WR3...

So if the QB cannot make a quick pass to WR1 or 2
most often the HB gets the ball in a screen or short
pass (to the stupidity that a HB just blocking a rushing
DL gets the pass and gets tackled for a considerable loss
or cannot make the reception)

Very few plays are designed to involve a WR3 before TE or
RB, mostly only the plays that cover 20+ yards. These
will not be called very often.

The only other way to get the WR3 involved is because
of injured or fatigued starting WRs. So overtime games
will show a lot more WR3 or even TE2 catches then
normal games.

I hope this did help a bit.
