Important note here. Well, unless Im totally off base, in which case this note is worse than useless :)

I tried to do the exact same things too, and was continously frustrated at how little sense the results made! However, I think I figured out the problem. If I am not mistaken and Im pretty sure I am not, those percentages do *not* have anything to do with how many times you will pass/run!

Those details have to be set in the playbooks and such. Instead, these settings give the chance for each game, that the team will play 'pass aggressive' or 'run conservative' the whole game! So if you put it 33% pass agressive and 66% run conservative, it means that there is one in three chance that the next game, the team will try to pass lots. The entire game. This function seems to be there so that in a league as this, you can keep the opponent guessing as to what your game plan will be. If its at 100% pass aggressive each week (so you *will* pass aggressively) then the other coaches can work it out and set their d accordingly. If you put in a random element, you can catch them completely off guard.

Also, the standard playbooks seem to be quite balanced. Even in a run aggressive mode, you will see quite a few passes. Because no team in their right minds would run the ball all the time. Unless you got Emmit Smith and Walter Payton perhaps. To be able to do weird stuff like that, you'd have to be able to go into the playbooks.

A final note, I seem to recall reading somewhere that the 'aggressive' part also has an impact on injuries. It also affects the way your players play, they will be more, well, aggressive :) and therefor more injury prone.
