I don't like the squib kick either. But, the fact is, many NFL teams do employ it to keep the ball away from very dangerous return men at the end of a game.

I don't like prevent defense either. I think the prevent defense prevents you from winning. However, almost all NFL defenses use such tactics in just that situation.

Personally, I would never use a squib kick or prevent defense, but FBPro is pretty much right on with NFL strategy.

Saying that, I know how frustrating it can be. I have lost a couple of games due to strategy which I would not have employed at the end of a game.
