Ah yes, the Volunteers! A few years ago, when they fired their coach (Johnny Majors?) and replaced him with the current gentleman (Fulmer?) I said "Oh man, they are SO dead!"

They merely went on the best run of their history from that point on...

Reminds me of watching Ohio State once and I was really going for them to beat a so-so Indiana (I think...may have been Illinois) team. Their RB fumbled at around the 10 and it was taken all the way back and cemented a loss for them. I said "That loser will never amount to a damn thing!"

*ahem*
