I think this is something that we all need to think about when we reach the end of the season, however what I've noticed this season - as the new kid on the block:

With the lack of control over gameplan there is really only one way to win in this league, so as a result everybody is after the same type of player. With more variety and control over gameplan then we may see more variety in the way teams are establish thus giving trading a new impetus.

I'm investigating ways to allow everybody to see what the plays are. Right now without the league files (that only Paul has) there is limited use in owning the game to pick a gameplan as there are hidden numbers for player attributes that can contribute to a players performance.

I'm thinking of the following (for offense right now):
1. Show expected Ball Carrier for Running plays
2. Show Receiver progression for Pass plays
3. Number of plays of each type in Gameplan
4. Basic play diagrams as available in game showing running direction.

What I am personally interested in is which plays give me big gains and which ones cause me big losses. You want to maximise big gain and minimise big losses. By handing over that information to people then the ways the rosters can be managed grow and hopefully we end up with a more varied league.

cheers
Ross
