I thought of you again just now, and wanted to inquire of you your thoughts and understanding on Isa 9:6. My NIV Bible interprets the verse this way.

Isa 9:6
6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (NIV)

I can't remember exactly what form of Judaism you believe in but is it Rabbinic Judaism? I also can't remember the extent of your knowledge re; Hebrew OT texts, but if it is possible for you, could you tell me if the text in Hebrew coincides with the English interpretation? Here is a BLB link to the verse according to the Hebrew Lexicon Concordance.

Just scroll down a little and see IF the Hebrew here conicides with the English translation of the Hebrew. I would very much appreciate your thoughts. Thanks
