Would Adam and Eve be much better off if God gave them the tolls to know if their actions was right or wrong? If Satan came along, Adam and Eve could have known that he was lying, Adam and Eve could have known that what they were doing was wrong but instead, they had no idea. Eve could have said no to Satan because if God gave her the knowledge of what good and evil was, she would know right on the spot that Satan was evil and that what he was doing was evil. She could then see through the trick. Instead, she was faced with something where she had no idea what was right and what was wrong or what a lie was, and if what she was doing was right or wrong. It’s one thing to punish Eve if she had the sense and had the tools to know what was wrong and if what she was doing was wrong, it’s quite another to punish her after not giving her that sense and knowledge of what is wrong. Despite these lack of tolls to make a proper and informed choice, a rebellious angel is allowed to run around on earth! What is wrong with that picture, Paul? |
