You know schwabra, as I was reading Genesis to look for the lie of the snake which I never quite found, I find another interesting verse.

Gen 3:1 -- Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made.

That verse dispels the idea that Satan made a snake talk because not only is there no mention of Satan taking a form of a snake, Genesis seems to state the opposite, that the snake was crafty. If Satan was making a snake talk, it wouldn’t be the snake that would be crafty, it would have been Satan.
