I have never called "us" victims. We are not here in this reality to be victims, we are here to learn and grow. I am slowly and slowly learning that no one is a victim to anything because there was a purpose and plan behind it all and we only become a victim when we believe we are at the mercy of forces, instead of having control of our lives. It is the victim mentality that makes one go into a cycle and makes one feel sorry for themselves and not get anywhere in life. With problems, when one overcomes them, they become stronger and better as a person, and that doesn’t happen when one thinks that they are a victim. Paul, you are doing absolutely nothing to convince me that what I have learned in life is wrong and I would expect anyone who professes to know the "truth" to at least show me where or how I am wrong. I have learned that the more I learn, the more I have to learn and the learning in life, I don’t see an end to it. The infinite if a grand thing. There is nothing better a person could do than to show me how and where I am wrong, but simply telling me I am while ignoring everything in which I have stated that I have learned isn’t the way to go. I have many times had people point out to me where I am wrong and each person that has ever corrected my mistake has explained how and why. If you can do something and point something out to me that can improve my quality of life and make me better as a person, I will be thankful. We can all learn something from someone. I have never learned any mistake I have had simply from someone who tells me they are wrong because they know better. Just the fact that you mentioned that you don’t need to break your leg to appreciate walking tells me that you’re not even going to respond to what I said directly because that comment has nothing to do with what I said. If that is the case, please show me how I am wrong when I said that there is no growth without work and that there is no wisdom and discipline without hardships. Please show me where and how I am wrong when I said that this life is a learning experience. Please show me where and how I am wrong when I said that only a weak God without wisdom would go out and spoil his children. I have said that through suffering, we grow and learn lessons and become wise and tell me how I am wrong with this. I am showing you what I have learned in life through my own suffering and how it has bettered me and if I am wrong, that it has not bettered me or that I should not be grateful for the suffering, then tell me why. I have seen the results of what suffering has done and learned that we create our own suffering in the end and that it is a mirror to the problems within our own souls that we need to work on. Seeing that I see the purpose and reason being problems in life and the positive results they have bring, why then I should believe that what I experience is not a result of the creators purpose and plan all along? |
