In the past year, I have truly learned how little I really know about the nature of perception, reality and the universe. I don’t claim to know how it all got "started." I want to be open to any knowledge that may come my way rather then reject it simply because it may not be compatible with my beliefs. If there ever comes a time when I will come across to see that knowledge (is there a reason that I ever won’t?) I want to be ready for that possibility that what we know and perceive will totally blow away what we perceive reality as being; I want to be ready for it and absorb it and grow with it. This is the evolution I see in myself and how I wish to grow; be ready for the impossible because anything is possible since all things are possible with the creator. I know that in the past few years, I have learned many things about the nature to what we are and the nature of reality and it is not what I expected it to be and I learned how truly wonderful and beautiful the universe is and it is only the start.

But to go onto what I am saying about how little I know, I am questioning whether or not time is real and I am believing that it is an illusion but I don’t hold onto that as being fully true because there may be something I don’t see and understand with time and then again, there may be something else I don’t even remotely know to the existence of all this.

I see it as quite interesting that no one can really describe and explain what time is and what makes it go. I look at infinity and ask myself: Is God getting older? In one year from now, will God be one year older? If God has always existed, can God get older?

Can infinity get bigger or smaller?

What happens if you have two piles of rocks and each pile has an infinite amount of rocks. If you take away 30 rocks from one pile, is that pile then smaller than the other pile of infinite rocks? NOPE!

Surely, one of those piles should be bigger than the other but yet, they are the same and equal even though I may take away 30 rocks or 239 rocks from one pile. No matter how many rocks I take away from that infinite pile, it will never be smaller then the other infinite pile. One infinity can not be bigger or smaller then the other infinity.

That’s what I find interesting and that though alone makes me see how much I really don’t know about the nature of reality. Have we been given the illusion of time where time is simply a matter of subjective perception?

Is God effected by time, making God under the law of time and its effect or is God the creator of all laws and not subject to time? This whole topic and the topic of infinity makes me realize that perhaps what we see as "beginning and end" may be an illusion.

If God is not effected by time, was there then ever a "time" where God was alone? That then makes our creation an illusion and the belief in a "beginning" part of that illusion that we perceive through this perception.

On the other hand…

If God is effected by time and can not break the law of time with his infinite power, is God then getting older? That then doesn’t make sense because infinity can not get bigger or smaller. Since God is infinite (never having a beginning) he would have already had an infinite amount of time to come up with the idea of creation. There is so much I can not grasp and find it also quite fascinating. At the same time, in reference to what I just spoke about in regards to God and time, I am also seeing that what actually is, is actually something we do not and can not perceive right now.

I can not conceive this and realize how little I know and am seeing that what we see, is real and at the same time, it is also an illusion. That’s what when you said that we are seeing life from a certain angle, I have to agree. There are many other different perceptions to see it from, ones which we can not even remotely imagine.
