Lets say for the sake of argument that this is true in regards to God and that God can not break the law of time and is subject to it. So here we have God, who’s subjected to the law of time and he chooses not to use his power because he needs to control it? That seems to tell me that if he uses that power, that he is then not controlling his power? Him not choosing to use that power means him not choosing to have a particular knowledge and remaining ignorant on certain matters, that is what it comes down to. The all-powerful and wise God choose to remain ignorant on certain matters. It’s still apparent to me that there is yet a purpose and reason that God would choose to stay ignorant of certain knowledge if he did indeed choose that, as you are saying. Surely, the most powerful and mighty being in existence knew of the "possibility" that its plan might get sabotaged and if God truly did not want things to turn out this way, he could very much well have prevented it. But instead, he not only did not prevent it from happening in the first place, he allowed it to happen. He set things up in such a way that it COULD happen! This is the creator of all things. He could create a reality where it was not allowed to happen but instead, he created a reality where it was allowed to happen. This reality was created in such a way that things are allowed to happen. This reminds me of video-game creators where they create realities in video games and give them rules and laws. There is a reason and purpose to each rule and law they give to the realities they create in their games. If at anytime the creators of the games don’t want something to happen in their games, they set the rules so that it doesn’t happen! That is what it is boiling down to: it was ALLOWED to happen and when things are allowed to happen, there is a reason and purpose as to why they are allowed to happen. The way things are now were not only allowed to happen, they were set up to be allowed to happen and that is no accident what so ever. |
