Subject: A fall from grace?
In reply to: PAUL 's message, "The bible says there was-" on 19:58:19 10/08/03 Wed

Or yet another step in creation. Why were the humans not cursed for their deeds? The land and the serpent were cursed, but the hmans were told that they would have different requirements for living outside of the garden. Toil for food and labor in childbirth are not curses, they are facts. Popular euphemisms aside, "the curse" did not fall on mankind. Humans were given choices from the start. Two trees.

A choice made is not a fall from grace. God gave them the choice.
