~*~*an odd brother and sister pair were in the bazar. they were well known around this land. the female was aya, keeper of the rose and mage of the dark carnival. the brother was Maveric, sourcerer and tamer of the dark carnival. aya was younger, and much more powerful. she had a gift that was unseen for thousands of years. she and her brother run the streets of the bazar, looking for interesting trinkets. they duck into an abandoned building to talk.*~*~
aya- there are more residents of the big house.... did you see the boy in white?!?! HE WAS SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
maveric- uh, whatever..... (said with a picture of washu in his head.... both of them had fallen love with the new comers.)
aya- i must meet him brother, i will risk life and limb to do so...
maveric- cant you call me by my name.... i wanna meet them too, but we cant right now, understand?
aya- i guess so, but.....
maveric- do you realize how bad those invaders want you.... they allready got minerva, and they are close to shad.... had our parents not been killed, all 4 of us would still be together....
aya- it dosnt matter now.... as keeper of the rose, i can not mourn for them.....
maveric- at least were not still with the carnival. they would have killed us if they knew about you...
aya- i didnt ask for this gift, the spirit knew it was more powerful than i, but he stuck me with it anyways.....
maveric- then maybe we can find a way to use it without being found...
aya- thats not possible, you know it as well as i do.... if only we knew what we were looking for, this wouldnt be so hard..... i dont think they will be in the market place, thats too easy.....
maveric- we cant give up..... children of the dark carnival are taught that no matter what to stay strong.....
aya- but what if they dont come.... what if, they never release minerva, and if they find shad, well never re-unite, and well never find them....
maveric- if only we knew their names.... we know everybody here, but the energy signature is oblivious.....
~*~*they huddle close together, and aya almoast cries. maveric is quick to stop her, not wanting to see her depresed. they quickly exit the building, when aya has a thought...*~*~
aya- maveric, what if the people in the mansion are who we are looking for.... ive never seen them, so its possible....
maveric- give me a sec, ill find out....
~*~*he concentrates hard for a few moments, then his eyes light up like never before....*~*~
maveric- its them..... the signal is faint from this distance, but its them!!!!!
aya- then ill get names.... if its really them it should work....
~*~*she closes her eyes, and glows lightly.*~*~
aya- the spiral moon is ken, the spiral sun is washu....
~*~*she opens her eyes, and stops glowing. she looks at her brother asd smiles, when something catches her eyes.... the jewelry store.... she quickly raced through the doors, while maveric traveled the bazar for a while.*~*~
(IN THE JEWELRY SHOP)
~*~*she ran around, looking at all the beautiful gems and gold. she had alot of money for a cat, and could easily afford anything she wanted. her eyes dance, until she finds something she had lost when she was a kitten. it had been found and made its way to here. she runs up to it. it was a locket.... it was pure gold, shaped like a heart. she was quick to grab it, and held it to her heart. it was warm, so it was hers. she looked inside, and as she opened it, a small glowing ball of blue light came out and into her paws. her brothers and sister hadnt lost theirs, so they still had them with them. hers was lost in a trafic accident when she was little. she smiles, and places the blue light back into the locket. she puts it on, and dashes out of the store, refuseing to pay for something that was hers allready. each member of the dark carnival had a locket. inside was a glowing light taken from their heart. so quite litterally, their hearts were in the lockets. the light was to symbolize their great power, and the locket symbolized the dark carnival. she disapeared into the crowd.*~*~
(IN THE BAZAR)
~*~*he was looking at his locket also. it was open, and a glowing green light was clutched in his paws. he replaced it into his bronze triangle shaped locket. he put it back around his neck, and approached a shop. they were selling magical items. being a sourcer, he found this usefull. he purchased an emerald triangle pendant. it had belonged to a great sourcer once.... his father. he was quick to place it around his neck. he also purchased a golden arm band, and a golden tail ring. they were for ken and washu. thease were items badly needed on their quest. he found aya a few moments later.*~*~
maveric- lets go....
aya- right....
~*~*they sprint towards the mansion.*~*~
