I just want to say that I would like to answer questions but if you want to answer them, then go ahead because it is an open forum in all directions to do with vrml space sim.
The main attraction is the high resolution art using the vrml EXTERN PROTO sphere so that your vrml sim will no longer have planet with that lumpy unprofessional appearance. Also I will be adding stuff often I hope and you can sign up at www.egroups.com to my two egroups of
spacetravel and space travel simulation. I have 40 mb of files you may be interested in there. Also I want to direct your attention towards www.holodesk.com which is new for the next millenium. It is better than Active Worlds browser in that you can show worlds you create in vrml 2 to anyone. But the only problem is that the Holodesk Communicator does not cache worlds it only caches them in ram and then dumps them. So you have to either copy them from the www browser cache or go to a auto-url-adder which I made for holodesk.
It is advertised in the search engines and you can find it that way. But also it is on my vrml page. http://users.aol.com/vrmlspacesim/gb.htm if I remember
