Your frustration and fear have grounds. PNGeans have every reason to be concerned, very concerned, abut the way resources are developed.

Do not be lulled into sleep by the seductive manouverings of Sir Mekere Morauta. Look behind him at who is pulling the strings. The game hasn�t changed, only the players have.

What happened to the women and children on Bougainville is tragic. But more tragic is the fact that the situation hasn�t improved for the rest of PNG, especially PNG women. And nothing will improve as long as we have machoistic, hedonistic pigs running the country. We have already had politican assasinations in PNG , starting with Malipu Balakau. Other more insidious murders are that of Pious Kerepia, an ex cop who knew too much. Could he have threatened to go public?

They will murder to protect their interests.

And what is the connection between Benedict Chan, John Momis and the current advisors of Somare on Bougainville? Momis, Hannett, Somare ...the plot is becoming clearer. One day the truth will come out. I post a letter below that was tabled in parliament back in 1990 by Pius Wingti to try and discredit John Momis. WAS WINGTI TRYING TO GET RID OF MOMIS TOO?

Dear Sirs,
Please find enclosed the draft agreement which indicates what is expected of the investor Group who wish to invest in the Bougainville Joint Venture

As to your investors concerns over the political situation in Papua New Guinea, I refer to our previous discussions, my partner benedict Chan and I have the Papua New Guinea governmet in the �palm of our hands�. Namaliu, the prime Minister , and Father john Momis are totally under our �control� (thence thatA$4 million we required).

As regard the opponents in Papua New Guines Parliament, my partner Benedict Chan can give you the following assurances;:

(a) Mr Chan is presently working towards removing Sir julius Chan permanently from Papua New Guinea Parliament. He will no longer be effective. Please read enclosed newspaper reports and Report of Investigating Authority into Placer Pacific Limited (engineered by Mr Benedict Chan)

(b) Steps to neutralize Paias Wingti, former Prime Minister will be put into motion to ensure Namaliu stays as Prime Minister for the next term (by this way benedict Chan can assure your group that Michael Somare is a has-been prime minister, he is history.

(c) Karl Stack will be removed from his present ministry (see annexed documents reagrding corruption Staxk/Hugo hearing) and someone agreeable will be put in his place. All future dealing in timber concessions will be handled by Chans�s brother, Mr Albert Chan. Your groups timber request will have to go through him.

(d) T Diro will be removed from his present position (enclosed are newspaper clipppings of his corrupt activities)

Mr Benedict Chan is instrumental in assisting Mr Charles Copeman and Mr Howard Brady of Mosaic Oil NL in securing Papuan Basin leases. He has Patterson Lowa, Minister for Minerals and Energy under his control and the Minister had been well looked after.

Our strategy onBougainville is;

(1) remove leo Hannett from Bougainville Development Corporation and secure total control of corporation.

(2) engineer the bougainville crisis to pick up Panguna mine with minimum of costs.

My past achievements in Australia (in demoralising Australian Politicians) will demonstrate my ability in publicly destroying Father Momis�s political opponents in Papua New Guinea.

To demonstrate our influence over the Papua Newguinea Governemnt , I enclose copies of letter from Joseph Kabui for your information. If your group should require any further proof I will have no trouble obtaining the necessary letters from the government.
